I have learned if I trust I should not doubt, if I fall in love I need to learn to sacrifice too

I have learned if I give my heart to someone I should learn to take it back too

I have learned to look for beauty in ugliness, for happiness in sorrow, for convenience in inconvenience

I have learned to look for hope in hopelessness, for success in failure

I have learned to make peace from war, victory from defeat, bond from animosity, friendship from hatred

I have learned there is sometimes happiness in sadness, sadness in happiness

I have learned not to break anyone’s heart as my heart shall be broken one day, not to give anyone a hard time as I shall be in hardship one day

I have learned from Luqman the Wise* who was asked from whom did you learn politeness, he said from the impolite for what they say or do, I don’t and what they don’t say or do, I do

*Luqman was described as a perceptive man and a prophet, always watching the animals and plants of his surroundings, and he tried to understand the world based on what he saw. One day, whilst sleeping under a tree, an angel came to him and said God wanted to bestow a gift upon Luqman: either to be a king or a wise man. Luqman chose to be a wise man, and when he woke up from his slumber, he was aware that his senses and understanding had sharpened. He felt in complete harmony with nature and could understand the inner meaning of things, beyond their physical reality. Immediately he bowed down, thanked and praised Allah for this wonderful gift. – Wikipedia

I shall come and give jasmine to a beggar. I’ll reward pretty lady with leper another type of earrings. I shall tell the blind what beautiful scenery is in a garden. I’ll be an itinerant seller wandering around streets shouting ahoy there, I have dew, dew…dew. A passenger would say honesty has a dark night. I’ll give him a whole galaxy.

Over the bridge is a little lame girl, I’ll put on her neck Big Dipper (in the constellation). I’ll wipe out all the curse there is on lips; I’ll move all walls from foundation. I’ll let thieves know a caravan is here loaded with smile. I’ll tear apart clouds. I’ll node eyes with sun, hearts with love, shadows with water and branches of trees with wind.

And I’ll attach child’s sleep with nightly humming of crickets. I’ll fly kites in the sky. I’ll water flower in pots. I’ll bring horses and cows fresh green alfalfa of cuddle. For a thirsty mare, I’ll bring bucket of dew. There is an old donkey on the road; I’ll run flies away from him.

I shall come and hang a nail on every wall. I’ll read a piece of poetry by every window. I’ll give every crow a pine tree. I’ll tell snake how glorious is a toad. I’ll make friendships, I’ll walk the walk, I’ll eat from light and I’ll love.

Sohrab Sepehri*

*Sohrab Sepehri – October 7, 1928 – April 21, 1980 is a Persian poet and painter and a pioneer of modern Persian New Poetry, a kind of poetry that often has neither meter nor rhyme. His poetry is full of humanity and concern for human values and bears great resemblance to that of E.E. Cummings. He died at age 51 of leukemia and is buried in suburbs of Kashan, Iran.

After some eight years, I still can’t believe Arnold Schwarzenegger is Governor of California, a state worth at least a couple of countries. I thought too big to fail theory implies to banks and financial institutions I didn’t know it may also undertake governors and states. With all due respect to Mr. Schwarzenegger this is the bitter face of land of opportunity where special interest driven politics misleads people and when people are misled, guess who is to blame! When he was campaigning for Governor’s office Mr. Schwarzenegger had his magic wand, the broom stick, in his hand pounding esta la vista to sweep huge problems his predecessor was facing in a bankrupt used to be golden State of California. Those were the days when Californians got an earful that only added up to their pile of problems. Mr. Schwarzenegger achieved his sweeping agenda maybe on the personal front but on California front I wish I could have told him; don’t blow it, sweep it!

This reminds me; whenever I look through a window no matter where I am, chances are I see an aka Mexican now American dude with a blower in his hand and rarely a mask over his mouth blowing leaves and dust in thin air together with a whole lot of particles and other elements I am sure he is unaware of. If I could tell him ‘how are you and what are you doing?’ he would have probably said ‘Estoy haciendo maravillosa, yo soy de barrido y limpieza’ as he understands a little English but a whole lot of Spanish which is okay because bilingual services are now fully operational all over the State.

My Spanish doesn’t help me otherwise I could have told him; don’t blow it, sweep it! I know this much that he is not doing wonderful at all and what he does is everything but sweeping and cleaning. If I could only give him a microscope size of his blower and make him watch the outcome of what he is doing he would see what a mess he is creating; a feast for germs and microbes in all forms, allergies and ailments unique to the rest of the world and more. If I could only relay this message to the CDC – Center for Disease Control and Prevention and to FDA – Food and Drug Administration and humbly beg them to swap the blower with a vacuum cleaner.

Come November, the Governor’s office is up for grabs in a multimillion dollar cat and mouse ‘Tom and Jerry’ style political race. My guess and my hope is that Jerry Brown will come out safely in one piece to reside successfully in Governor’s mansion. My advice to Mr. Brown again would be; don’t blow it brother, sweep it!

I sincerely hope Mr. Brown shall challenge obstacles and lead California to prosperity it deserves. I truly hope he won’t be led by obstacles. I always say history is written for other people never for us; we write our own. I fear what comes may prove Mark Twain right when he said; history doesn’t repeat itself but it rhymes.

CNN Larry King Live1 aired a segment last week on science and religion that was by far more mesmerizing than interviews with kings and queens and presidents. The infamous guests were scientists Stephen Hawking and Leonard Mlodinow co authors of the book “The Grand Design” together with spiritual guru Deepak Chopra and Father Robert Spitzer Jesuit priest …and then, there came trouble along the way!

The Wall Street Journal2 had a contemporary biased review of the book hours after CNN show was aired while Kindle Edition was already on Amazon.com. Here are some highlights;

The Hawking vs. God debate has featured prominently in the news of late. He and Mr. Mlodinow don’t claim to have proved that God doesn’t exist; their argument is somewhat more confined, but still important in its implications. We understand enough about the ultimate laws of physics, the authors say, to conclude that we don’t need God to understand the universe. [...oh brother where art thou, you need; you infinitely need!]

Now Mr. Hawking and Leonard Mlodinow have written “The Grand Design,” which addresses some of the biggest questions of all: Why is there something rather than nothing? Why does nature have the laws it does? Why do we exist? These sorts of “Why?” questions are often neglected by most scientific practice, but the recent progress of cosmology and fundamental physics makes this a good time to tackle them in earnest. Putting the word “design” in the book’s title is the kind of cheeky humor that Mr. Hawking has become known for. The authors’ answer to the riddle of the universe has nothing to do with intelligent design or with religion generally. “Some would claim the answer to these questions is that there is a God who chose to create the universe that way. . . . We claim, however, that it is possible to answer these questions purely within the realm of science, and without invoking any divine beings.”

On Larry King side of the story, perhaps the highlight of the program was Larry’s generous confession who said he felt the gentlemen were being interviewed by an idiot. The words were in fact coming out of mouth of a gentleman with many, many years of impeccable unique interviewing skills and expertise. Other than that and other than sales pitches once in a while for books they had en-route, the gentlemen were generally validating each other’s statements that existence is created from nothingness by nothingness except for Father Spitzer who saw the possibility of a couple of problems here and there in Hawking Mlodinow theory. I thank you sir for at least seeing the possibility!

I personally intend to pay my respect to Mr. Hawking for a life time of research and achievement and I say kudos for helping out NASA with their endeavors in star wars explorations which is actually peanuts in cost benefit equilibrium and comparison with George Lucas’s Star Wars Episode I, and kudos for receiving Presidential Medal of Freedom for such splendid and other services. What truly amazed me was to see Mr. Hawking being referred to as modern era Einstein. Well, may be by proportion but by no means by content. I mean Einstein believed we need God and gave a supporting state of the art speech when he was only a kid3 while Mr. Hawking proved otherwise at the speed of light at age 68. I would like to tap on your shoulder Mr. Hawking for paving the way and helping out generation after generation of wandering human beings incapable of understanding one would need a creator to be created although your theory of nothingness is truly a knockout. I mean a fifth grader may understand that existence is created from nothingness but creation purely by nothingness, even within the realm of science without invoking any divine beings as you put it, is heck of an idea.

It is amazing how one may understand the most mysterious phenomenon of creation through simplest of ways if one truly takes heed. Let’s descend from extraterrestrial down to earth for a while. Put a sheet of cardboard paper in front of your fifth grader together with a scissors, a ruler, a pencil, some adhesive and ask her to make a box without touching the items. What your fifth grader would tell you is obvious but just for the sake of the discussion and better yet to make it equally tangible as your theory, let’s put nothing in front of her and ask her to watch for the cardboard box to appear out of nothingness; if she insists on her respond while looking at you in a certain way explain to her that you have a book that says it is doable; tell her it has been proven in lab several times that the whole existence is created from nothingness by nothingness. Tell your fifth grader if she cannot do it, it really doesn’t matter; tell her your ingenious mind has addressed some of the biggest questions of all and has taken responsibility to prove in confidence what generation after generation of mankind desperately wanted to prove and couldn’t. Tell her she can spend her life time and a couple of hundred years of her future generation’s life time trying to produce the box. Or give her an earthly example and ask her; have you ever watched magicians’ work? You only see the outcome of what they do; you only see reaction of an action; you don’t see what they do but it doesn’t mean they don’t do it. They do magic!

Maybe our fifth grader and I don’t have enough knowledge of cosmology, gravity, quantum physics and mathematics but we have something instead maybe you don’t; we have love of Creator in our hearts and we feel Creator of existence with every breath we take.

Mathematics, physics, computer sciences and the like are applied sciences; they are mediums and means; they are tools to be utilized in scientific discoveries in search of prosperity for benefit of mankind through social responsibility. If there is great danger for human race; if we are as you put it and I quote, in danger of destroying ourselves by our greed and stupidity; we are not at fault; those who directly and indirectly even within the realm of science teach us how to destroy ourselves, how to build soft or hard tools to exterminate ourselves are to blame. May I present an example; Einstein merely defined how to break an atom to release nuclear energy, never intended to build a killer bomb I might add; it was a summation of he and his colleagues knowingly or unknowingly and manufacturers, engineers and others who regrettably released the extremely costly energy and caused serious consequences for human race till the end of the day. Maybe Einstein too looked up at the stars so long a time that he forgot what was going on down at his feet!

Believe it or not, faith in Creator in modern era is extremely delicate and drives purely from personal understanding and incentives and from individual knowhow and capabilities. People’s believes in Creator cannot and should not be invoked by ideas that swing mirages to distract or daze, knowingly or unknowingly. You do that you might miss the whole point; you might miss what you are destined to be. Funny as it may seem, the world is full of people with lost destination and destinies, and destiny only materializes when it is ripe and pure not before. Don’t disembark so soon.

Prerequisites of knowledge of creation of existence are extremely vast; they are way over the limits of a few good fellows to analyze and conclude. It is simply out of imagination; it won’t fit into human logic and mind even at high nominal capacities except enough capacity and criteria are granted by the Creator. Man needs to be a messenger and a servant of God to deserve such high qualities and capabilities; it is pretty much similar to a sort of unique teamwork aiming at prosperity of mankind. In short, existence uncoils; it rolls out and shows itself off in front of your very eyes like an exquisite masterpiece Persian carpet or Michelangelo’s work of art in Sistine Chapel in all beauty and amaze, and it rolls back and shies away into nothingness like nothing was ever there.

We are created equally but the very first instinct in my state of mind is to believe I may be wrong at any given moment. Last but not least; never underestimate the power of metaphor and allegory in theology and mythology, even if you feel you don’t need them. You may not hear early morning breezes talking to you all the time but you can always talk back. In a way, everything is written while nothing is written!

“Your task is not to seek for love, but merely to seek and find all the barriers within yourself that you have built against it” Jalal ad-Din Mohammad Rumi

Why can’t somebody answer the questions that nobody is asking! For some time now I have been telling my friends and constituents that tomorrow is here! With high hopes today I give it a notch and say tomorrow is here; the end is near.

An evident and eminent example; republicans and democrats for the most part in modern era are saying one thing and doing another. They don’t speak truly of their mind and you can hardly see what they are really up to. This is in a way the definition for hypocrites. But even hypocrites won’t be able to go all the way and will eventually come to a halt as they wear each other thin and out. The fight between democrat and the republican pundit in this country is getting close to an end. For them, tomorrow is here; the end is near. My guess is bipartisan independent elite will soon emerge and proclaim the betterment of the people they represent not the prudence of the party they present! The elite party will be the House or the Senate; why build another house when you already have a mansion; why waste the money, energy and resources. Build a new city instead, a whole new state!

While campaigning for oval office President Obama expressed high hopes for change and he managed to organize huge number of hopeful people rallying behind him. Ever since, he has been avoiding dissolving in main stream politics frenzy. He refrains from transformation into a full grade old school politician like certain of his predecessors, those who say one thing and do another! President Obama is in the notion of ‘the nation who wins the race to clean energy will lead world economy’; he is in the notion of ‘buy an American car for a change’ and he is still trying to reestablish and regain the three magic words ‘Made in USA’.

We always say change can be good but amazing is to adapt. President Obama brought about a new day, a new era; no more profitability mirage; no more special interest delusion at cost and risk of American prosperity; no more exporting internet lifestyle unsupervised or jobs and industry blueprint un-prescribed, un-manifest. President Reagan once said ‘man is not free unless government is limited.’ While concurring we would like to add government is limited unless it enforces proactive oversight and control.

Let’s leave democrats and republicans aside for a while. They are well capable of taking care of themselves. But their fight doesn’t come even close to the kind of full pledged war we face in our lives; the war between good and evil. In this fight, we might lose a couple of battles here and there but I bet your bottom dollar we shall win the war. We defeat evil in our unique way as we believe both sides in a common war are losers. We agree with Benjamin Franklin that there has never been a good war or a bad peace. Our way of life dominates victory in peace; we thrive for our victory in peace. We support John Lennon and ‘we declare it. Just the same way we declare war. That is how we will have peace… we just need to declare it.’

Albert Einstein was only a child when he said: Cold does not exist. According to the laws of physics, what we consider cold is in reality the absence of heat. Darkness does not exist either. Darkness is in reality the absence of light. Light we can study, but not darkness. Evil does not exist. It is just like darkness and cold, God did not create evil. Evil is the result of what happens when man does not have God’s love present in his heart.*

The problem with our generation is that we take these quotes as fables and stories from old times. We think everything supposedly good is to attach to and everything supposedly bad is to detach from without really thinking about them. We concur with Charles Darwin that ‘the highest possible stage in moral culture is when we recognize we ought to control our thoughts.’ Among the high genes of mankind and most famous at least in an industrial sense are Pharaoh, Edison and Einstein. Pharaoh abused his high genes and did a lot of evil to himself and to Children of Israel. Bad guys never think of themselves as bad guys. Edison and Einstein served humanity all their lives or at least that was their goal, although sometimes the distance between good and evil is thinner than a filament in a light bulb or tinier than a fraction of an atom.

You promise to bear with me and I promise to summon my agenda and present a vivid clear view. I think I just gave myself enough incentive to write for you till the end of my time. I believe true writing is loud thinking! Together we can make it; bear with me!

Problem with the politicians and I mean politicians in a vast range, is that they generally won’t reveal to you what is in their mind, what happens that triggers their beautiful mind sets to make a state of the art decision! They can mislead a lot of people if they want to and they do it very easy. In most cases you can hardly ever guess what triggers their reaction, namely an action. Their decisions are mostly a reaction to secure satisfactory outcome or interest as they may deem necessary. You mostly see the reaction but rarely the action. This can of course be true more or less with all of us as it is part of human nature and characteristics. The difference is in the impact; our decisions may at most impact our lives and surroundings but their decisions impact many, many people. They can go to extreme diameters within their immediate society, commonwealth or the world.

BP’s CEO or Board of Directors and their superiors as well as Libya’s Oil Minister and his’ and the like are all considered to be within politicians category in my dictionary. Their decisions is capable of vast impacts and when these decisions are inhumane they may easily ignore innocent lives and national or international wealth.

In 1988 over Lockerbie Scotland, 270 innocent people were brutally killed and millions of dollars worth of properties and assets vanished en-route flight PANAM 103 in a rare explosion master minded by Mr. Megrahi of Libya (Mr. Bin Laden was very busy at that time with his other businesses). Megrahi was the only person charged and convicted for this crime against humanity. He was released in 2009 on companionate grounds. Only weeks before his release, BP and Libya’s Oil Minister reached an agreement to ratify their long overdue contract signed originally in 2007 for oil drilling rights at the coast of Libya. At the time of release, President Obama called it a mistake. British government is now admitting the release was a mistake. Megrabi’s prognosis looks much better now as he is living in his homeland’s oil rich luxury instead of a cold cell in England. You do the math.

With all due respect to all the addresses, it seems to me as if US politics is not yet as weak in behavioral patterns as the UK’s; at least not as anonymous. I mean by comparison, you never see one single line on vivid UK politics except maybe what is revealed glamorously by James Bond in Hollywood whereas US politics are all over the place; not such master mindedly covered up in mystery as the British do. US politics echo without a buffer even if they are very wrong; even if the spoils of a war is the homeless, husband or wife lost people, parentless children or child lost parents living in physical and emotional poverty, sorrow and devastation either way. If you are smart you may see real time consequences of UK politics throughout the world for example through the eyes of desperate and immobilized fishermen in Louisiana. You always see or feel the reaction; never the action!

I say history is written for other people, never for us. We write our own! Now it is only fair to say that BP is the real winner of Lockerbie!

* Winner of Lockerbie… please read though; http://essiejavaheri-newideas.blogspot.com/2009/08/winner-of-lockerbie.html

We all know more or less how ‘competition’ works in our material world. Competition is a fight and is material in nature, characteristics and dimensions. Within its vast application whether it is for instance a soccer game among real people, a free competition or even a profitability mirage1 among legal entities or an economic or financial race between governments, it means that one would work hard to incorporate a process to so to speak pass or bypass all obstacles and opponents within reach at all cost, as long as such process is properly defined and is legal. Not every competition has a referee so in practical cases the contestants use and abuse or bend laws and regulations as long as they don’t break them. In unprecedented scenarios competition may even get tougher and go ugly. Competitors may cause loss or damage and suffer others intentionally or unintentionally only to move forward and to reach their goal. It works pretty much like a gamble as those who compete may suffer themselves if they don’t reach their goal. When they see others have won they would feel jealous or at least sad in their own self even if they pretend they are not; even if they congratulate the winner and produce one of those famous smiles. I am talking about the typical smile that director of movie ‘Avatar’ gave his ex-wife director of movie ‘The Hurt Locker’ when congratulating her for her win in grabbing a couple of Oscars on her way to the Academy Awards this year.2

There is also another form of competition which is immaterial in nature; competition at Grace of God and it works like a charm. In this environment, people don’t feel jealous; they don’t envy each other and feel appreciative and compassionate towards whoever is up front. They feel happy for front runners and learn from them, they look up to them. Better yet, at times when the competition gets intense and turns into a pledged fight; a fight between good and evil; those who are attacked, weakened or grounded are helped and picked up by those who are on their way to victory.

May I give you a tangible example? If Jesus is the captain of an all star football team, the whole team will follow him with all their hearts and minds. If truly attended, there would be no fuss or no bending the law. On the contrary, the heroes will coach the followers to catch up, they don’t push each other and they don’t kick. There would be a lot of following heroes like saints and popes as well as ordinary people who have achieved values. Not only they don’t envy each other or feel jealous because they are behind but they take pride for being blessed to be where they are within the category. They are happy for themselves and proud of captain of the team for what he has achieved and vice versa.

For those of you who might now think ‘oh well, Jesus was an extraordinary existence and a miracle of God, may I present two other wonderful examples. Moses and Mohammad were born human beings; they were born precisely the same way you and I were born and they both had tough lives filled with obstacles like us; only difference is, they won!

Life is a constant fight between good and evil which will take us right to the end of the world. But I have good news for you; we may lose one battle or another within the course of this fight but I bet your bottom dollar we shall win the war.

My dictionary defines ‘mirage’ as an optical illusion of a sheet of water appearing in the desert or on a hot road, caused by light being distorted by alternate layers of hot or cool air, something that appears to be real but is unreal or merely imagined. I now understand what a mirage is; what I don’t understand is how Wall Street sees a desert or a hot road right in the middle of lower Manhattan, New York City!

Couple of other important points worth mentioning before moving further on; companies referred to in this article are mere examples among who knows how many similar entities whose executives are following more or less same policies and procedures at this very moment. And in case you do not see interrelation between all the issues raised here, please optimize a notch or two layers deep to see ‘outside the box’.

I believe that corporate America, with the exception of Google and the league who deserve kudos for their consumer protection plans, is inflicted and sick of ‘profitability mirage’. I believe Wall Street and US Chamber of Commerce need an overhaul very seriously before it is too late, before the whole world is badly impacted by wild and hasty concept of rewarding incompetence, creating and executing financial disaster scenarios and destruction of consumer wellbeing with fat golden blankets and compensation packages in the name of capitalism. One major characteristic of a ‘mirage’ is that it goes on, and on and on; it never ends!

One thing is for sure though. President Obama means business. He has committed his administration to reining in Wall Street and creating the strongest consumer protections in history. He has made it clear that we can’t allow another devastating financial crisis — so he’ll veto any reform bill that doesn’t bring the derivatives market under control. He won’t take an irresponsible ‘no’ for a constructive ‘yes’. Financial reform and overhaul must be delivered successfully at any cost; even if tea parties goers from all around the world get together and have a fun time.

Profitability mirage is what drives Wall Mart to be practically more Chinese rather than American… ah, it is very interesting how it claims consumers’ well being while practically drumming and droning for a glowing China! Half a century ago, Chinese government had nothing but to bow around; today it shows teeth to the world as to ‘Yuan is not that low; meaning ‘Yuan is that high’! I say, ‘Where art thou brother, all it takes is to close the golden gates President Nixon opened by mistake; NOP! Yuan is not that high neither; at least not yet’!

I hear China is now drilling for natural oil and gas resources on behalf of their Iranian counterpart in the Persian Gulf…wow, hats off to the Iranian government for successfully materializing a brand new Chinese dream come through at the cost of a few anti riot vehicles to cool down a comparatively faint innocent protesting voice. Their traditional methods of shutting down the same voice by a locally engineered armored truck with an iron bar mounted upfront designed to drive over and to kill instantly a defenseless woman seems to be much faster much easier and very much cost effective! A comparison of resumes of United States valuable hard earned experience in explore, extract, refine and manufacture of natural oil and gas with lifelong record of Chinese consumption of crude oil now turned into desires for exploring reminisces American mastery of world’s steel manufacturing now in trustworthy hands of Japan. It breaks my heart to think how profitability mirage supersedes economic morals, financial stability and success in the name of capitalism. Reminds me of my business trip to Taiwan a few years ago where I was shocked to see Taiwan’s gas stations logo being a replica of National Iranian Oil Company (NIOC) logo at Shah’s time! Oh yea, go figure!

Profitability mirage is what drives Iranian President-ELECT to go promptly to Russia to attend his private inauguration party right after he gets his approval seal from his supreme leader. Same Russia that may be its wonderful people don’t recall or don’t pay any attention to but since the Tsar’s time has been so darn thirsty for having its palms on warm stream of the Persian Gulf; same Russia now dreaming on taking over Persia’s future, thanks to its by now well organized well placed assets in the region.

Profitability mirage is what derives the respectable President and CEO of U.S. Chamber of Commerce to say; ‘While some discuss repeal, the U.S. Chamber believes a more effective approach is to work through all available and appropriate avenues–regulatory, legislative, legal, and political–to fix the bill’s flaws and minimize its harmful impacts…. Like it or not, the health care debate is not over. Stay tuned!’ Would someone please tell the gentleman that the ‘debate’ is now the ‘law’; I am so darn tired of repeating myself!

Profitability mirage is when at eBay the state of the art board of directors and executives decide behind closed doors to miraculously transform job descriptions for bundles of every three engineers into one to save costs and add to company’s so to speak profitability and then see who among the three is man enough to accept this challenge and do the other guys job and eventually, excuse the other two from reporting to work the very next day. What do they care if the poor laid offs who were until then working their hearts out living on paycheck to paycheck are now desperately up in the air with bills piling up and pain swallowing down? For these guys, ‘future’ seems to be the ‘mirage’; for the company, the ‘profitability’.

Last but obviously not least, profitability mirage is when the gentlemen at Wall Street Journal keep slamming President Obama in any way and every way they can for the sake of , of course, a prosperous glorious and profitable corporate America they are missing so darn much again in the name of capitalism. Dudes; let me predict right here right now; what you are doing is not saving ‘capitalism’ at all, if not ruining it!

I only quote a mere specimen of WSJ master pieces pertinent to the subject and I leave proper consideration to the respectful reader of the articles now up in the air;

March 25, 2010; ‘Wingnuts’: An Autobiography?* Suppose you’re walking down the street and some wide-eyed guy comes up to you and says: “Barack Obama is doing many of the things Hitler did. Do you agree?”…

March 18, 2010; Smart President, Foolish Choices* When President Obama gives TV interviews the treatment he gets is typically soft, if not reverential…

March 4, 2010; Obama’s Vietnam* CNN senior political analyst, Gloria Borger, twice related a very odd quote on yesterday’s episode of CNN Newsroom… She was describing President Obama’s efforts to ram through his monstrous health-care proposal over the objections of voters…

February 1oth, 2010; ‘United We Fall’ “How could such smart people do so many stupid things?” asks Michael Barone. The “smart people” are President Obama and his men…

President Obama was sworn in on January 2oth 2009 as the 44th President was sworn in on January 20th 2009 as the 44th President of the United States of America – the first African American ever to hold the office of U.S. Commander-in-Chief; the event was witnessed by well over one million attendees in chilly Washington D.C. as well as many millions more through coverage ob television and the Internet.

Tolstoy has a beautiful say. Per Para phrase he says ‘it is relatively very easy to prove a complicated theory to a simple person with a simple mind set as he or she doesn’t have any background for it; where as it is extremely difficult to prove a simple theory to a well educated complicated person where he or she has already a background and a justification for it in his or her mind set.’

I have said this repeatedly before that the modern day problems call for contemporary new ideas which create new waves and would have domino effect in resolving problems both on the national and international front. I keep presenting my views and make predictions from time to time but again, who would listen!

By characteristics, I am very good at or better to say I have mastered christening people with new nice fitting names. For instance, I call myself a ‘thinksalot’ or a ‘reasonist’ meaning I think a lot and I believe there are reasons behind almost everything! Please add these new words to your dictionaries!

Before I explore any further, may I quote a paragraph or two from Newsweek*:

It was after the Democrats’ loss of Ted Kennedy’s Senate seat in Massachusetts, when health care seemed dead and Democrats were in a deep funk, that Nancy Pelosi made me a believer. “You can always find a way,” she told the skeptical columnists and pundits gathered in her office. If the election results close one door to reforming the health-care system, you go to the gate; if the gate’s locked, you climb over the fence; if it’s too high, you pole-vault in; and if that doesn’t work, you parachute in.

Pelosi is that rare public official in Washington who, when she says she’ll get something done you can take it to the bank, or in the case of health care, to the White House. She stood her ground and by all accounts helped stiffen the spines of others, notably President Obama, who was getting conflicting advice about whether to press ahead with comprehensive reform or settle for a scaled-back bill that Pelosi privately derided with the lyrics of the children’s song “Eensy Weensy Spider.”*

Kudos to Madam Speaker of the House for being the real conqueror in Obamacare aka Kennedycare battlefield! Where there is a will, there is a way. I like that and I hereby christen Madam Speaker of The House Nancy Pelosi with a brand and grand new name; ‘Mona Lisa’ …you can hardly ever guess what is really going on in her beautiful mind by simply looking at her beautiful face or at her beautiful smile!

What I don’t like is to see special interest reuniting and regrouping again to ruin innocent joy of 32,000,000 uninsured with this new big fuss that is going on right now. Take for example the fresh off the oven ‘Viagra’ never-to-be bill. Every college freshman would easily realize giving a sex offender, a pedophile, etc., one single dose of Viagra is a rotten practice and should have been prevented in the first place. In fact it is shamefully interesting to learn that Viagra has so far been freely and practically provided to people as such. I am very curious to know how old this shameful practice is and where were these bill-proposing gentlemen before!

I think this case should have been referred to the pertinent body of the EXECUTIVE BRANCH of the government by the respectful explorers at their earliest convenience in order to follow up with investigations and for further action but no; instead, it must end up in the LEGISLATIVE BRANCH for reasons I sincerely hope everybody including our dear college freshman know by now! In fact, Viagra case history is a masterpiece example that national healthcare should be in safe hands of the executive branch of the government as opposed to the healthcare and pharmaceutical companies who have proved they really don’t give a hoot to what may happen to end users of their services and drugs. All they do care about is their ‘profitability mirage’!

I have said this repeatedly before that the modern day problems call for contemporary new ideas which create new waves and would have domino effect in resolving problems both on the national and international front. I keep presenting my views and make predictions from time to time but again, who would listen. A dear one asked me, ‘who are YOU?’… I said ‘I am a huge nobody! How come?!’

*Newsweek March 24, 2010 – Chairwoman of the Old Boys’ Club: House Speaker Nancy Pelosi enrages Republicans because she is so effective. Please follow through; http://www.newsweek.com/id/235374
